Development Manager, Common Gaming Platforms

We are seeking a Development Manager to lead one of our software product development teams. This full-time, permanent role blends strategic vision as an Agile Product Owner with facilitation and leadership skills often associated with agile coaching. You’ll be at the heart of defining the team’s roadmap, managing the backlog, and driving agile processes while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

This is not a line manager role. You will not have direct personnel management responsibilities, but you will play a key role in guiding and enabling the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the team’s roadmap and backlog.
• Develop a deep understanding of the domains your development team works in.
• Facilitate team events: backlog refinement, iteration planning, daily meetings, and team retrospectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in agile development practices and team collaboration.
• Manage incoming work requests, task scheduling, and prioritization.
• Foster effective cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Oversee release planning, vulnerability management, and operational responsibilities.
• Investigate issues and ensure timely resolution and prioritization.

You will thrive in this position, if you have

• Experience as an agile product owner or in a similar agile leadership role.
• Strong technical background with software development experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.
