We’re looking for an AI Engineer Intern who’s eager to learn, experiment, and help push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in production. You’ll work directly with our founders and engineers, gaining hands-on experience designing, building, and testing AI agents that solve mission-critical problems.

This isn’t a typical internship. You’ll get real ownership, exposure to cutting-edge AI, and the chance to make an impact from day one.

Mission

As an AI Engineer Intern at MarvelX, you’ll support the development of agentic AI systems that handle high-stakes, high-complexity workflows. You’ll experiment with the latest LLMs, reasoning frameworks, and orchestration tools, while learning how to bring AI to production environments where reliability, compliance, and explainability matter.

What you'll be doing

Support the design, prototyping, and testing of AI agents for real-world workflows.

• Experiment with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent orchestration.
• Help build pipelines that ensure explainability and traceability for AI decisions.
• Collaborate with product and GTM teams to iterate based on customer needs.
• Explore new AI architectures, tools, and research and share your learnings with the team.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience building AI/ML systems (startups, scale-ups, or research labs).
• Strong background in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and modern AI stacks (OpenAI APIs, vector DBs, etc.).
• Experience with LLMs and agentic architectures - you’ve built with them, broken them, and made them better.
• Solid understanding of data engineering: pipelines, preprocessing, and deploying models in production.
• Proactive, scrappy, and able to ship fast without compromising on quality.
• Excited by solving hard problems where there’s no clear playbook - and you create the playbook.
• Bonus: exposure to compliance, fintech, or other regulated domains where explainability is critical.

• Previous internship or project experience with ML/AI systems.
• Exposure to vector databases, RAG, or orchestration frameworks.
• Interest in compliance, fintech, or other regulated domains.
