Role Description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Frontend Engineer with experience in Next.js to join Dealcar’s growing team. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing web-based products that power our core SaaS platform. Working closely with our design, product, and backend teams, you’ll help deliver fast, responsive, and intuitive user experiences across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality web applications using Next.js and React.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement new features and improve UI/UX.
• Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and scalability across browsers and devices.
• Maintain clean, reusable code and contribute to component libraries and design systems.
• Debug, test, and fix issues to ensure smooth functionality across all supported environments.
• Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate in Agile development cycles.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 1-2 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with SSR/SSG in Next.js and routing strategies.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
• Git proficiency and knowledge of common version control workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, or performance monitoring tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright, Cypress).
• Understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and Lighthouse optimization.
• Experience in B2B SaaS platforms or automotive tech is a plus.
