About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Android Developer to join a specialised app development team. This role will focus on developing Android applications that are critical to diagnosis-specific initiatives. You will work alongside iOS developers to ensure feature parity and consistency across platforms while contributing to meaningful, patient-focused digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Android applications in Kotlin.
- Translate requirements into efficient, secure, and scalable app solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to align Android development with iOS versions.
- Apply accessibility and data protection standards from design through deployment.
- Contribute to agile workflows and iterative development cycles.
- Ensure robust system and application security throughout development.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in app development, with a strong focus on Android.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
- Proven experience in accessibility-focused design and implementation.
- Solid understanding of data protection principles (Privacy by Design and by Default).
- Strong knowledge of application and system security.
- Experience working with agile methods.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express yourself clearly in spoken and written Swedish.
