Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS or Azure, strong automation and deployment skills, and familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake as a valuable addition. This role is critical in enabling efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery across environments.
Key Responsibilities:
CI/CD Development & Automation
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application and data platform deployments.
- Automate build, test, and release processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Integrate security, compliance, and quality checks into deployment workflows.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Manage and optimize cloud environments in AWS or Azure, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
Monitoring & Reliability
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployment pipelines and cloud environments.
- Support incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work closely with development, data engineering, and QA teams to streamline delivery processes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Document DevOps processes and promote best practices across teams.
Databricks / Snowflake Integration (Preferred)
- Support deployment and configuration of Databricks notebooks, jobs, and clusters.
- Assist in automating Snowflake data workflows and integrations.
- Collaborate with data teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- 6–9 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.
- Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Databricks or Snowflake in a DevOps context.
- Exposure to data platform deployment and automation.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps tools (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert).
Soft Skills:
