Job Description

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will be responsible to turn our processes and various digital assets into easy-to-use products for our users.

The candidate will deliver adaptive and creative solution to UI/UX design problems and hold responsibilities include gathering user requirements, facilitate research sessions, identify, analyse and implement solutions to user experience issues within a product or service.

If you have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile/other platform applications, we’d like to understand your thinking process.

Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our user needs and help us grow our business and customer base.

Your Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the digital experiences of our resort. You'll craft intuitive and engaging digital experiences that delight our guests and employees. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and apply user-centred design principles to create seamless interactions, intuitive interfaces, and visually appealing designs that meet business objectives. Your expertise will ensure that our digital products are accessible, usable, and enjoyable for all users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and investigate user experience design requirements. Empathise user needs, motivations and emotions to create solutions that resonate with users effectively.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies. Facilitate research sessions that best fits the needs of the project and design process.
  • Analyse questionnaire responses, field studies, interviews and use insights as input for design decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate design concepts, present ideas to stakeholders and collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and design thinking to overcome obstacles and deliver effective design solution.
  • Identify and resolve UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback. Prepare and present progressive drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Produce good quality design solutions through wireframes, visuals, flow diagrams and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function looks like.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of design systems and actively contribute to their evolution. Help improve and maintain design standards, with reusable UI elements and tools that enhance consistency and scalability across digital products.

Job Qualifications And Requirements

  • A deep understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Proficiency in design software, wireframe and research tools, including Figma
  • User research abilities
  • A portfolio of UI/UX design work, skills in wireframing and prototyping
  • Visual design expertise including colour theory, typography and layout
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and effectively present design ideas
  • A team player but is also able to work independently
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • A relevant qualification in UI/UX, graphic/web design or a related field is a plus
