We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with hands-on expertise in Cisco and Arista network switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba Wi-Fi solutions. The ideal candidate should bring 3–5 years of professional experience in network engineering, with prior exposure to a technical lead role.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- 3–5 years of working experience in network engineering roles;
- Must have hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista switches (configuration, implementation, optimization);
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls (security policies, VPN, threat prevention, rule optimization);
- Must have experience managing Aruba Wi-Fi solutions, including access point configuration, controller management, and wireless performance tuning;
- Good understanding of network routing, switching protocols, and network security principles;
- Ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues across LAN/WAN, wireless, and security devices;
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Prior experience in a technical lead capacity (guiding junior engineers, leading network projects);
- Familiarity with network automation or scripting (Python, Ansible) for efficiency;
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar);
- Certifications such as CCNP, Arista Certified Engineer, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Aruba Certified Professional are advantageous;
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Cisco and Arista network switching environments to meet performance and scalability needs;
- Administer and secure Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring robust perimeter security, VPN connectivity, and compliance with security standards;
- Manage and optimize Aruba Wi-Fi deployments, ensuring seamless wireless coverage and end-user connectivity;
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex networking issues;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business applications, cloud connectivity, and digital transformation initiatives;
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures;
- Lead or support network infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations;
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to developing best practices for network security and performance.
