The Role

We’re looking to hire an interim Product Manager to join a growing Product function in a thriving tech business. Acting as the number two to the Product Director, you will help upskill the function in ways of working and drive change within the business. This is a true Product Manager role opposed to a hands-on Product Owner.

The ideal candidate would be a proven Product Manager with a technical background and strong commercial acumen. Experience in a research and development environment, deep experience within user research and the discovery phase of Product Management would be highly advantageous.

What you’ll do:

• Own the product vision and positioning
• Plan the framework for ideation, completing market research and translating this to product opportunities
• Translate insights into user stories, features, and scalable product configurations
• Work closely with tech and commercial teams to deliver value
• Ensure quality, service acceptance, and smooth deployment
• Monitor performance, integrate feedback, and champion continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

• Proven Product Management experience in a technology focussed environment
• Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
• Strong Agile and lifecycle management expertise
• Customer-centric with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Analytical, detail-driven, and comfortable leading cross-functional collaboration
• Experience working in a tech environment would be highly advantageous
• Familiarity and interest in emerging technologies
• Experience in market research, product design, and commercialisation
