Are you a problem-solver with an eye for seamless digital experiences? YNA is looking for a Software Developer (Front End – UX/UI) to join our team in Fullarton, Adelaide to help shape how users interact with our platforms. This is a full-time (38 hours per week) which combines user interface design, front-end development, and support to deliver functional, intuitive, and engaging user experiences across our digital environments.

About the Role

As a Software Developer (Front End – UX/UI), you’ll be the link between form and function. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our digital presence meets both user expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing intuitive and visually engaging interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to implement responsive, accessible UI/UX solutions.
• Conduct usability testing and provide feedback to improve user experiences.
• Create and maintain design system components for consistency across platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface and experience issues reported by users.
• Investigate UI/UX-related bugs or inefficiencies and coordinate resolutions.
• Gather user feedback and prioritise enhancements based on insights.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new features and enhancements.
• Translate technical constraints and opportunities to non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse UI/UX performance metrics (e.g., engagement, task completion).
• Use analytics tools to identify trends and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Support payroll, invoicing, and technical teams with disaster recovery processes.
• Be flexible and adaptable to support additional business needs as they arise.

This role may include occasional national travel.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a UI/UX, front-end development, or software support role.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
