Senior Java Software Engineer

We’ve partnered with a fast-growing global tech company that’s seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their high-performing engineering team.

In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain a robust Java backend developing APIs, open-source libraries, and scalable microservices within a modern, cloud-native architecture. Your expertise in Java will play a key role in shaping solutions that are reliable, efficient, and built to scale.

If you’re passionate about software development and experienced with APIs, containerised applications, Kubernetes, and AWS, this one is for you!

To be successful, the ideal candidate will have:

• Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot
• Experience building and deploying Microservices
• Experience with Microservices design
• Experience with Design Patterns & Integration Design Patterns
• Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with container apps, Kubernetes, and service mesh (a plus).
• Strong experience within an AWS environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
