We’re currently recruiting for a Senior .NET Engineer to help modernise and stabilise a financial services client’s technology stack. This short-term contract is focused on refactoring legacy applications, reducing technical debt, and enabling faster progress on the product roadmap.
What you’ll do
- Refactor, modernise and stabilise existing .NET applications.
- Improve performance, maintainability and security of services.
- Contribute to new API and microservice development as required.
- Integrate applications with Microsoft Azure PaaS (Functions, Service Bus, SQL, API Management, Key Vault).
- Ensure compatibility with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Share knowledge and uplift engineering practices across the team.
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of hands-on .NET experience (C#, .NET Core/Framework).
- Strong track record in refactoring and modernising legacy codebases.
- Practical experience with Azure PaaS components.
- Skilled in secure coding, performance optimisation and integration patterns.
