Location: Dubai

Contract Length: 6 months

Day Rate: 2500 AED

Reports To: Co-Founder

Job Overview:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences by translating business needs and customer insights into intuitive and functional product designs. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet both user needs and business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) best practices, as well as a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research & Insights:
• Conduct user research and gather feedback through interviews, surveys, usability studies, and data analysis to understand user needs.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that inform design decisions.
• Conceptualization & Ideation:
• Collaborate with product teams to brainstorm and conceptualize design solutions for new features or product enhancements.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to visualize ideas and potential user experiences.
• Design & Prototyping:
• Design and iterate high-quality UI/UX deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
• Ensure designs are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand's identity.
• Use design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms for creating prototypes and mockups.
• Collaboration with Engineering & Product Teams:
• Work closely with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and maintain design integrity during implementation.
• Partner with product managers to define product requirements and create user-centric solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers on the team.
• Testing & Iteration:
• Conduct usability testing on prototypes and live products to identify areas for improvement.
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Design Systems & Guidelines:
• Maintain and update the company’s design system, ensuring consistency across all products.
• Establish design guidelines, best practices, and standards to be followed across the design team.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or Marvel.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end frameworks (a plus).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
