Our client who operates as a multi-national IT Service Provider is looking for a Dutch speaking Cyber Security Analyst - Soc.
As a SOC Analyst you play a crucial role in performing in-depth analyses on the technical logs and reports of contracted security services.
You have expertise in various domains such as:
- DDoS Mitigation
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS/IPS)
- Next Gen Firewall (NGFW)
- Vulnerability Management (VMS)
- Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly in-depth analyses on technical logs and reports.
• Prepare detailed reports that provide insight into the security status of the customer environment.
• Identify and advise on security improvements and potential risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applications, operating systems, and exploit information.
Requirements:
• Completed education at MBO (with relevant work experience) or HBO level in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Cybersecurity).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with security services such as DDoS, IDS/IPS, NGFW, VMS and MDR.
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive and customer-oriented attitude.
Nice to have:
• Certifications such as Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Linux + or Linux LPI are a plus.
• Experience with exploit prediction scoring and known vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Elastic Search.
