Network Engineer

I am working with an independent Melbourne based telco & ISP to find a senior provisioning engineer to join their team. Over the past 20+ years they have built up trust and respect through strong relationships and delivery for several key vendors and suppliers.

In this role you will be responsible for providing expert level support to partners. This will involve provisioning and configurations of equipment, network operational support for monitoring and system performance and deployments of routers, switches, IP phones and hosted voice platforms.

Key skills:

• Working knowledge of MPLS, BGP, IP networks, VoIP & Network Security
• Experience working with Fortinet products (Fortigate, Fortianalyzer, Forticlient)
• Exposure to a managed network environments in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in configuring, managing and troubleshooting multi-site environments comprising of Cisco networking equipment
• Experience in configuring, managing and troubleshooting IP telephony & network security solutions
• Knowledge of SIP protocol, SIP trunking and call routing is essential
• Experience with Yealink, Ubiquiti & Mikrotik beneficial
