Responsibilities
- Maintain and support legacy software written in Visual Basic 6.
- Develop new software versions using Visual Basic .NET and ASP.NET.
- Manage and optimize databases with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and technical issues.
- Provide technical triage and respond to customer support tickets.
- Collaborate with the lead developer on new software architecture initiatives.
- Support customer connections via platforms such as Freshdesk and TeamViewer.
- Ensure high-quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Visual Basic (6 and .NET).
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET web technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (database management & queries).
- Understanding of legacy code maintenance.
- Knowledge of web development and UI/UX principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- 1-3 years of experience in software development.
- Familiarity with software support processes.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
