What you’ll do

As a Security Engineer at Relax, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that ensures our security objectives are met and that we remain ahead of emerging threats. Your work will span across proactive risk management, hands-on security operations, and supporting audits in regulated environments.

• Protect & innovate: Design, implement, and manage security frameworks that safeguard Relax ICT systems.
• Be hands-on: Conduct risk assessments, manage vulnerabilities, monitor logs, investigate incidents, and continuously improve our security posture.
• Drive compliance: Support ISO 27001:2022, financial audits, and other compliance requirements while ensuring smooth remediation.
• Enable the business: Create security policies, raise awareness, and act as a trusted advisor to teams across the organization.
• Stay ahead: Keep up with evolving threats and bring best practices to strengthen our defenses.

What we’re looking for

We’re not just after certifications and checklists, we want someone passionate about security, with the curiosity to keep learning and the communication skills to bring others on the journey.

• Proven expertise in Security Operations (log monitoring, threat detection, incident response).
• Hands-on knowledge of EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, MDM, DDoS protection, and vulnerability management.
• Audit experience, ideally ISO 27001, from preparation to remediation.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP or equivalent required; ISO 27001 Lead Implementer preferred).
• Technical edge: scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, Jira/Confluence automation) are a plus.
• Strong communicator & educator: able to explain complex security issues in plain English and influence stakeholders who may not have a security background.
• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
