Network Support Engineer
Role:
We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join a growing IT team in Citywest, Dublin. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic managed services environment supporting a user base of 1500+. You’ll join a collaborative team of six engineers, with ongoing training and development provided to help you grow your career. Responsibilities:
Support and troubleshoot LAN and WLAN, including device configuration, monitoring, routing, and switching
Manage and troubleshoot AnyConnect Security/802.1x and related network security
Day-to-day security management using Cisco ISE and Cisco Stealthwatch
Configure and support AnyConnect VPN
Provide support for Unified Communications (VoIP desk and soft phones, call centre, video conferencing, instant messaging)
Support Mobile Device Management solutions
Maintain and manage print services
Skills/Must have:
Cisco CCNA certification (or higher)
Previous experience supporting a complex and highly secure network environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-starter mindset
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organisation
Flexibility to work core support hours (8am – 6:30pm on a rota basis) with occasional out-of-hours support
Ability to pass Garda vetting checks
