Frontend Developer (Laravel Blade, Tailwind, HTMX)

inGain is a Latvian B2B fintech startup delivering a no-code SaaS Loan, Subscription (PaaS) and Rentals (EaaS) Management System for lenders and businesses in non-finance industries e.g. car dealers, telcos, retailers a.o. Established and based in Riga, we have steadily scaled since our foundation in 2022, now comprising a team of over 30 talents serving clients across 11 markets in Europe, Africa and Middle East.

In this role you will:

• Develop new frontend components and functionality using modern frameworks;

• Plan and implement user-facing features with a focus on performance and accessibility;

• Write clean, well-structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code;

• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX bugs;

• Refactor code to improve performance and maintainability;

• Participate in daily team processes and collaborate with backend developers.

You are going to be a great fit if you:

• Have at least 3 years of experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript);

• Have experience working with PHP, especially Laravel Blade templates;

• Are proficient with Tailwind CSS and understand utility-first CSS frameworks;

• Have strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries;

• Have a solid understanding of responsive design and web performance;

• Have experience with REST API

• Have experience with Git version control;

• Are comfortable working closely with backend developers using PHP frameworks like Laravel;

• Have very good verbal and written English communication skills (for you to be able to communicate with clients);

• Are passionate about frontend development, particularly in the Fintech space;

• Have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn.

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience with HTMX or other hypermedia-driven frontend frameworks;

• Have worked with Jira for project management;

• Have experience in fintech or payments platforms;

• Have experience writing automated tests for frontend components;

• Have experience working in a UNIX terminal.
