About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams to support product development and ensure smooth, efficient production. You will be responsible for managing engineering changes, introducing new products, improving production processes, and providing technical expertise across departments.

Location : Riga, Latvia

  • Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams to manage engineering changes and reduce production disruptions
  • Execute new product introduction projects from concept to production
  • Prepare documentation for production (DFM) and assembly (DFA)
  • Lead prototype manufacturing and analyze the results to improve the production process
  • Perform design of equipment, nodes, parts, and auxiliary devices using a CAD environment
  • Maintain documentation in ERP and version control systems
  • Improve production efficiency, material flow, and production technologies
  • Develop and maintain production work instructions
  • Provide technical consultation to other departments
  • Create and maintain internal and inter-departmental processes for the department
  • Advise and, when necessary, train production engineers on task execution

Requirements

  • Latvian (intermediate, Level 1) and good command of English
  • Proficiency in CAD (Solidworks) design
  • Knowledge of PDM version control
  • Ability to work with ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality systems
  • Experience with DFM/DFA principles and tools
  • Ability to apply LEAN manufacturing methodology
  • Attention to quality and precision
  • Capacity to analyze processes and identify root causes
  • Willingness to find problem solutions and take responsibility for work outcomes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team
