The Luxembourg Stock Exchange Is Looking For a

Product Manager

Permanent contract (F/M)

Our Product Manager will ensure that LuxSE products & services respond to market expectations and do contribute to LuxSE development and profitability. He will contribute through innovation to strengthening LuxSE’s position as the venue of choice for international debt and funds instruments (and beyond), stay aware of market trends and developments and identify potential new business opportunities.

Tasks/missions/responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to his management and the Executive Committee in the definition of product strategies aligned with the corporate strategy, the development of new products (features), and the management of our product portfolio;
  • Maintain product management procedures, inventories & roadmap up to date; manage (financial & operational) performance of our products;
  • Lead annual investment budget preparation for business teams; lead the elaboration of product concept papers and associated business cases; act as key contributor of business requirements in the product development phase;
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the areas of relevant experience;
  • Contribute to raising LuxSE visibility and represent it actively in client meetings, trade associations and industry events;
  • Be “connected” to the market to understand trends, anticipate emerging needs and identify opportunities of product developments and/or enhancement.

Education And Experience

  • Degree in Economics/Finance and 5-10 years of experience in Capital Markets;
  • Min. 3 years of experience in a product management and/or product development role; a previous experience in financial markets infrastructures is an asset;
  • Good understanding of and previous exposure to new technologies (AI, DLT, …) in the context of capital markets activities.

Technical competencies

  • Proficiency in the use of usual office automation tools (MS-Suite);
  • Excellent presentation & business writing skills;
  • Excellent business negotiation skills;
  • Superior analytical skills.

Soft Skills Competencies

  • Ability to interact with various and different parts of an organisation, favour dialogue and consensus (within LuxSE or in industry forums and working groups);
  • Demonstrate strong active listening skills, prioritizing understanding and reconciling differing perspectives rather than imposing personal views;
  • Public speaking and the capability to develop a network in the industry;
  • Maintain a result-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving tangible outcomes through persistence and determination;
  • An active curiosity towards LuxSE business, the Capital Markets industry and beyond;
  • Act with integrity and respect; foster diversity & inclusion.

Language Skills

  • Full professional proficiency in English, any other language is an asset.
