Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework and policies.
• Conduct business impact analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical business processes and potential vulnerabilities.
• Design, implement, and test disaster recovery (DR) and incident response plans, ensuring alignment with IT infrastructure and business needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams in preparing, rehearsing, and executing continuity and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with IT, security, operations, and leadership teams to ensure resilience measures are integrated into daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ITIL, NIST, COBIT) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Regularly conduct training, awareness sessions, and simulation exercises to enhance organizational readiness.
• Monitor industry trends, threats, and emerging risks to continuously enhance the BCM framework.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience in the IT sector, with at least 5 years directly in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and risk frameworks.
• Experience in implementing and auditing business continuity standards (ISO 22301, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, crisis situations, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCI, CBCP, DRII, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, PMP, ITIL) are a strong plus.
