Role Overview
Firsty is looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Senior Backend Developer with significant experience in building a high-quality and scalable backend for a global platform that serves B2B and B2C use cases. At Firsty, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our company and contribute to the growth and success of our startup. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for our mobile application an API integrations.
- Define an architecture that can easily scale to support 1+ million users in the short term and scale indefinitely in the long run
- Collaborate with mobile app developers to ensure smooth data exchange and functionality
- Integrate multiple third party APIs
- Implement secure and efficient APIs, data storage, and communication protocols
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Build up and lead a team of developers
- Collaboration with cross functional teams and cross plaform architectural decisions

- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer, proficiency in backend technologies, and a strong understanding of system architecture/design
- Proficiency in Node.js/Java
- Proficiency in database management and design
- Familiarity with mobile app development and mobile specific considerations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic startup setting
