People Operations Specialist
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 9-month contract
- Rate: €50 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Specialist, People Operations to join our HR team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the employee experience, supporting colleagues and managers across your assigned region or function. From onboarding to offboarding, you’ll ensure smooth HR processes, accurate data, and timely resolution of queries – all while contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Administer employee lifecycle activities including contracts, data changes, and absence management.
- Maintain and update HR systems (preferably Workday) with a strong focus on data quality and compliance.
- Coordinate payroll-related changes, audits, and reporting within set deadlines.
- Ensure correct documentation for employment, including contracts and work permits.
- Partner with internal teams (Payroll, Recruitment, Advisory, COEs) and external vendors to support HR operations.
- Support HR initiatives, projects, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Help coordinate local or regional people events, such as wellbeing activities or HR engagement days.
- Contribute to onboarding processes for both new hires and new People Operations team members.
- Monitor compliance, ensuring policies, training, and labor law requirements are met.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with HR systems (Workday strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Good understanding of local employment law is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating a positive employee experience.
