We are looking for a versatile and experienced Senior Software Engineer AR/VR who is eager to take on complex, cutting-edge challenges. As the "Swiss Army knife" of AR/VR development, you will be creating immersive experiences in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with colleagues from the innovation department and subject matter experts at Philips.
You will develop prototypes and proof of concepts using Unity and Unreal Engine. Knowledge of Philips software stacks is a significant advantage, as is experience with 3D models, shaders, animation, and 3D physics. The use of AI tools to speed up development is highly appreciated.

Job Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience (with a Bachelor's) or 6 years of experience (with a Master's) in Unity (with C#), Unreal Engine, or general software development.
- Extensive experience in game or immersive development.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot).
- Recent knowledge of at least two of the following languages: C#, C++, Python.
- Knowledge of Blender, JavaScript, Docker, and Apple Vision Pro development is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a bonus.
