We're developing cutting-edge products such as on-exchange lending, post-trade settlement, and asset financing tools, all built to serve the needs of the world's leading financial institutions.
As a Senior Python Engineer, you'll be at the heart of these systems — designing and delivering the backend services that power these products. You'll work in a high-trust environment where your technical decisions matter and your code touches billions in assets.

As a Senior Python Engineer, you'll be at the heart of these systems — designing and delivering the backend services that power these products. You'll work in a high-trust environment where your technical decisions matter and your code touches billions in assets.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django
- Own key components of advanced financial products like institutional lending, post-trade settlement workflows, and asset custody tools
- Ensure high availability, data integrity, and security across all services
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand product needs and translate them into backend solutions
- Continuously improve systems through monitoring, performance tuning, and iterative refinement
- Participate in on-call rotations and uphold high reliability standards for institutional customers
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with expertise in Python and Django (or similar frameworks)
- Deep knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization and schema design
- Strong engineering judgment in building business-critical systems where correctness and resilience are essential
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, and modern dev workflows
- Clear communication skills, strong execution focus, and a hands-on attitude toward ownership
- Experience building or integrating with financial products such as lending, settlement, custody, or treasury tools
- Exposure to regulated environments, institutional clients, or B2B fintech platforms
- Understanding of transaction flows, accounting systems, or compliance controls in financial applications
- Crypto-savvy or at least crypto-curious — you follow the space, use the products, or are eager to learn more
