Iščemo sposobne in ambiciozne kandidate s predznanjem strojništva, fizike ali kemije, za izvajanje nalog s področja razvoja numeričnih orodij in metod na področju termalnega upravljanja vozil ter sistemov upravljanja z izpušnimi emisijami konvencionalnih oziroma hibridnih vozil. Poudarek bo na razvoju 1D simulacijskih modelov sistemov termalnega managementa in sistemov za upravljanje z emisijami ter njihova integracija/analiza delovanja v sklopu sistema celotnega vozila. Uporaba simulacijskih orodij, ki jih razvijamo v AVLu (CruiseM).
We are seeking for a talented coworker/candidate with a solid background in mechanical engineering, physics and chemistry focusing on development of simulation models for thermal managment systems of hybrid/electric vehicles and exhaust gas aftertreatment systems. Thermal management and exhaust aftertreatment model development (including their integration and plausibility analysis of the entire system model operation) will be performed by using (mainly 1D) simulation tools developed by the parent company AVL List GmbH (CruiseM).
- Načrtovanje in razvoj metod, orodij in procesov na področju analize termalnega upravljanja vozila ter upravljanja z izpušnimi emisijami
- Razvoj kineticnih/reakcijskih modelov za analizo sistemov za upravljanje z izpušnimi plini (njihovo konverzijo) čez konkretne vozne cikle vozila
- Izvedba kompletnega spektra inženirske (predvsem 1D) analize termalnih sistemov vozil (VTMS) ter upravljanja z izpušnimi plini (EAS)
- Verifikacija pravilnosti delovanja simulacijskega softwarea (CruiseM) in pripadajočih orodij
- Pisanje tehničnih vsebin v angleškem jeziku, podpora in šolanje strank
- Projekti za stranke ter interni R&D projekti
- Stalno spremljanje trenutnih ter napoved bodočih razvojnih/prodajnih/proizvodnih trendov
- Development of methods, tools and processes to support modelling activities for predictive vehicle thermal management system analysis and vehicle exhaust emission assessment
- Model exhaust gas reaction kinetics to predict exhaust gas conversion and predict (real time) aftertreatment system efficiency across vehicle driving cycles
- Covering the complete spectrum from analytical engineering models to complex multiphysical models (1D/3D)
- Verification and plausibility check of developed models and related simulation tools (CruiseM)
- Writing technical documentation in English, customer support and trainings
- Performing customer and internal R&D projects
- Staying up-to-date on current and future research and development trends
- Zaključen študij oz. absolventski staž strojništva, fizike ali podobno
- Dobro splošno razumevanje fizike in aplikacije numeričnih metod
- Zaželjeno je osnovno poznavanje konvencionalnih in hibridnih vozil in pogonskih sklopov, upravljanja s termalnimi ter sistemi za naknadno obdelavo izpušnih plinov
- Izkušnje z uporabo 1D (ali 3D) simulacijskih orodij za dinamiko tekočin (zaželjeno CruiseM), poznavanje osnov MATLAB/Simulinka, C++, Python, ipd
- Sposobnost samostojnega, sistematičnega, timskega dela
- Proaktivnost, komunikacijske, organizacijske sposobnosti
- Znanje angleščine in pripravljenost za mednarodno sodelovanje
- BSc, MSc, or PhD or equivalent degree in an Engineering Discipline, Physics, Chemistry or similar
- Solid understanding and knowledge of fundamental physics and numerical methods
- Basic knowledge of of ICE/BEV/hybrid vehicles and powertrains, thermal management and exhaust aftertreatment systems
- Expirience with 1D system simulation software (preferably CruiseM), basic knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink, C ++, Python is a plus
- The ability to work independently, systematically, in a team
- Fluent English and willingness for an international cooperation
- Willingness to learn about new technologies
- Good communication skills and precise, reliable, pro-active personality
