Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Freelance - Shakers

We’re currently looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a multicultural tech team (100+ experts, 14 years of experience) working on cutting-edge AI solutions in healthcare and beyond.

🧠 What you’ll do

• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models (Python, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake.
• Use Azure ML Studio for experimentation and deployment.
• Perform feature engineering + apply validation metrics (accuracy, recall, F1-score, etc.).
• Communicate technical outcomes clearly to technical & business stakeholders.
• Collaborate on the design of cloud-based ML applications.
• Work with Git, Bash, command line, and deploy serverless components via Azure Function Apps.

✅ What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in Data Science / ML Engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure ecosystem (ADF, ML Studio, Data Lake).
• Deep Python knowledge (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
• Strong SQL + experience with Parquet and large datasets.
• Excellent Spanish and English communication.

Nice-to-have: experience fine-tuning LLMs, knowledge of serverless architectures (Azure Functions).
