Role Summary:

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to serve as a technical router for incoming internal and external cybersecurity requests. This individual will review, prioritize, allocate, and track technical requests across teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses while reducing response bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the central point of intake for cybersecurity-related requests from internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Triage and review technical requests, ensuring proper documentation and categorization.
• Assign requests to appropriate technical teams based on skill set, urgency, and workload.
• Track and report on the status of all requests to ensure SLAs and internal KPIs are met.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process or technology improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, compliance, and threat teams to streamline response and resolution workflows.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and escalations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Cyber Security
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, including hands-on experience with incident response, risk analysis, or technical support.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security domains (e.g., cloud security, endpoint protection, IAM, vulnerability management).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as OneTrust, ServiceNow, or other ticketing and workflow platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting both cloud and on-prem environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, GSEC, or PMP with cybersecurity projects).
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
