Tasks
Data management and analysis of data from cell profiling experiments using Cell Painting and high-content imaging. Deep learning and multivariate methods, both supervised and unsupervised. Development of software and pipelines for analysis of large-scale image data. Participation in the VR/SciLifeLab infrastructure Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden (CBCS).

Qualification Requirements
- Doctoral degree in bioinformatics, data science, computer science, scientific computing, or associated field
- Documented experience with AI methods for analysis of tabular dataset and image-based data including deep neural networks
- Documented experience with image analysis
- Strong competence in Python programming and Linux/HPC environments
- Prior experience of virtualization and software development
- Good social skills and ability to work on several simultaneous projects
- Able to work in a team, but also individually and solve problems independently
- Ability to document code and projects and interact with researchers from other backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral English is a requirement
- Experience with analysis of data from microscopy imaging of cells
The employment is a permanent position (probationary period 6 months will be applied) Scope of employment 100 %. Starting date as agreed upon. Placement: Uppsala
