DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Kraków, Poland (Hybrid 2 days onsite in a week)

Project Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering enhancements across the client's Azure foundation platform that enable application deployments
• Deploy and configure IaaS and PaaS Azure services to project application environments via automation using Azure DevOps Terraform and CICD
• Integrate configure deploy and manage centrally provided common cloud services eg IAM networking monitoring Operating systems Containers
• Ensure compliance defined bank security risk and resilience controls
• Adhere to operational risk standards Eg Network Firewall OS Logging Monitoring Availability Resiliency
• Build and support continuous integration CI continuous delivery CD and continuous testing activities
• Update support and operational documentation as required
• Fault find and support Applications teams with issue remediation
• Create compliant codified and reusable assets such as Terraform codified modules that enable reusability
• Provide operational support to project transaction teams throughout project lifecycle
• Perform other tasks required to ensure that technical engineering outcomes are executed effectively

Required skills:

• Strong cloud engineering experience: We don’t measure experience in years, but you must show that you really know what you are doing Azure and or multi cloud GCP, AWS hands-on engineering experience is critical In the absence of Azure experience strong proven experience and knowledge of AWSGCP will be considered
• Platform and/or Project Application: Experience working within a platform team or consulting background is advantageous however experience across multiple applications will be considered
• Technical Product and Services: Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code concepts and techniques Delivering infrastructure build and configuration of a variety of services including Compute Storage SDN Experience deploying and configuring cloud-based IaaS/PaaS services focused on Data management storage such as Azure Data Factory Databricks Databases Data Warehouse is highly beneficial
• Stakeholder management skills: You will interact with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders often with technical and nontechnical backgrounds
• Proficiency in English: We are a diverse company Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
• Reporting and presenting skills: You must know how to analyse and present recruitment data in a clear manner
