We’re on the hunt for a rockstar. You will ensure the quality of functionality being delivered across the entire platform. This includes well-coordinated testing between cross-functional teams (Software Development, Product, and UAT) with responsibility for handling & executing automated test cases wherever feasible. A strong ability to demonstrate solid analytical, Organizational, Problem Solving, and Written & Problem-Solving Skills. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can work closely with Developers, Designers & Other Team Members collectively or independently. Completely responsible for quality of functionality & experience within all mimojo products.

About Things, You’ll Be Working On:

• Manage the QA function and setup QA COE
• Manage Releases of Consumer App, Merchant Portal and API’s in various environments
• Engage with the Product Owner & Development team at the early stages of the Story Refinement & Grooming stage to understand the scope of the story
• Liaise with the Product and Delivery team to finalize the Acceptance Criteria which should cover the scope of the story being groomed
• Attend & Participate in the various Agile Ceremonies whenever and wherever needed
• Create manual & automated Test Cases, Regression Test Bed, Test Plan & Scenarios for the stories undergoing development
• Execute Single or Multiple rounds of testing for quality assurance
• Publish Test Reports during the active running sprint as well as strategic dashboards to ensure key KPI’s are optimized
• Bug Reporting in JIRA/Any other tool
• Liaising with developers for defect resolution
• Actively keeping track of the Task assigned to him/her and ensuring the closure as per the due dates defined
• Collaborate with the user during the UAT Stage, until signed-off
• Responsible for defining QA Matrix & Measure the delivery on a QA Index
• Execute Regression Testing on all or part of the system depending upon the story/functionality being delivered

Key competencies:

Mandatory

• Tools: Selenium, JMeter, Browserstack, Cypress, or other JS-based automation tools
• Mobile testing: XCUITest, Espresso, Detox, Appium
• API Testing automation tools: Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, Pytest, and others
• CI/CD: Jenkins / CircleCI / Azure pipeline, AWS code pipeline, Bitrise
• Knowledge of coding languages such as Java / Python / GoLang / Node JS / React JS

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar discipline
• 8-10 years experience with exposure to STLC across Agile product development
• Fast learner and able to adopt a helicopter view to capture processes in their entirety while being able to drill down at the granular level
• Well organized, able to comprehend and communicate effectively with users and the technical team
• Ability to work under tight deadlines & commit to the team
• Defining, developing, and implementing Quality Assurance practices and process
• Build test plans and scenarios
• Perform end-to-end tests
• Manage release plans and co-ordinate with DevSecOps teams
• Experience in writing and automating test cases
