Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Calgary, AB. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in building and enhancing large-scale Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative mobile solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain native Android applications.
- Implement and enhance complex features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to create effective and user-friendly solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Ensure application compatibility across multiple Android SDKs, screen resolutions, and device types.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing large-scale Android applications.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines.
- Experience with MVVM architecture and Android Architecture Components.
- Proven track record supporting multiple Android versions and devices.
- Strong Object-Oriented design and development skills.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming.
