Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Developer to join our growing remote engineering team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences to our users. This is a remote position open to candidates located in the Canada or United States.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile development.
• Proficiency in either Kotlin/Java (Android) or Swift/Objective-C (iOS).
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter is a plus.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile app architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiarity with cloud services like Firebase, AWS, or Azure.
• Published apps in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Integrate APIs and work with backend developers to connect mobile apps with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
