About the Role

Outwitly is looking for DevOps Specialists for a contract opportunity. You’ll work across two to three projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams to build, scale, and support digital services. This role requires flexibility: time, location, and frequency of work may vary depending on project needs but is primarily a remote position.

What You’ll Do

Automate and Optimize Operations

• Design and implement automation tools and scripts to support deployments and maintenance with minimal downtime.

Lead Production Operations

• Manage configuration and credentials for production environments.
• Plan and oversee maintenance activities.
• Handle database upgrades, migrations, backups, and recovery processes.

Support Development and Delivery

• Create templates and patterns for CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Build scripts and tools to streamline environment setup for development and testing.
• Develop monitoring and telemetry solutions for greater observability and system insights.
• Provide support for integration testing, security scans, system testing, and performance/load testing.
• Enable early and frequent delivery through staged launches, such as Alphas and Betas.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, continuous delivery.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms with AWS, EC2, GCP including hybrid cloud apps like Redhat Openshift.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC tools, disaster recovery and powershell, etc.
• Adept at balancing operational stability with the speed of delivery.
• Comfortable collaborating with delivery teams, designers, and developers to enable high-quality digital services.
