Frontend/Design Engineer, who’s excited about shaping the UX.

$140k–$200k + equity

I’m working with a YC-backed startup ($25M raised, backed by some serious names) that’s building foundational AI infrastructure- used by teams who are actually shipping LLM-powered products into production.

They’re looking for a Frontend/Design Engineer who’s equal parts designer and engineer. This is for someone who’s obsessed with clean, intuitive UX, but also loves to get their hands dirty building in React and TypeScript.

Why this role’s interesting:

• You’ll own complex UX flows from start to finish- design, prototype, build, ship.
• You’ll define the design system and component library for a product that's scaling fast.
• The product is deeply technical under the hood, but needs to feel magical on the surface.
• You’ll work onsite in NYC, directly with a sharp founding team moving quickly in a space where UX best practices don’t exist yet.

What they’re looking for:

• 3–6 years of experience, ideally with technical or developer-focused products.
• Strong with React + TypeScript and passionate about usable, elegant design.
• Experience building or leading design systems.
• Deep interest in the AI space. This is for people who want to help define how humans interact with LLMs.

Salary: $140k–$200k + equity

Location: Onsite in NYC (US only)
