Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to support financial reporting processes and daily monitoring tasks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and process the receipt of financial statements
  • Communicate with members to resolve missing or late reports
  • Save financials in appropriate repositories
  • Facilitate extensions and waivers, and process fines for late submissions
  • Accurately enter financial data into the Automated Financial Reporting System (AFRS)
  • Track reports through the full approval and workflow closure cycle
  • Oversee daily surveillance emails and workflows (negative news, missing reports, account changes, etc.)
  • Review daily items requiring immediate action
  • Reconcile reporting and tracking tools for accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial reporting components including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, etc.
  • Experience in credit and financial statement analysis for financial institutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and accuracy
