Job Description And Duties

Under the direction of the Division Director, the CEA A functions as Deputy Assistant Director in the Division of Land Resource Protection (DLRP). In consultation with the Division Director and program managers, the incumbent facilitates the development, implementation, and effective operation of the Division’s programs. The incumbent oversees four branches of division operations, in addition to their core administrative responsibilities as a supervisor and manager. These include, but are not limited to: program development, implementation, and operations (including the development of work plans, goals, objectives, and performance metrics for all program work, and facilitating cross-program communication, coordination, and collaboration); financial management; facilities, fleet, and contracts; and personnel management.

Special Requirements

This position is designated under the Conflict-of-Interest (COI) Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The incumbent is required to complete form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Failure to comply with the COI Code requirements may void the appointment.
