Job Summary:

  • A Cybersecurity Analyst protects an organization’s computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
  • They monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents while implementing preventive measures to strengthen the company’s security posture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, malware, and suspicious activity.
  • Analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.
  • Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis.
  • Maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide user training and awareness on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest threats, trends, and security technologies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and common attack techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM) preferred.
