Sole UX / UI Designer - Remote – Healthcare / Software. I’m working with a well-established yet agile and innovative software / systems company in the Healthcare space. They are looking to bring on a talented UX/UI Designer to join their distributed team and take ownership of the design function across multiple platforms.
This is a fully remote role, with colleagues based across Europe and beyond. It’s ideal for someone who values autonomy, thoughtful design, and meaningful collaboration in a product-led environment.
UX / UI Designer – the role:
You’ll be at the heart of the design process—working closely with product managers, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to shape the user experience across three core products spanning mobile, tablet, and desktop. The team is small and nimble, and your input will have real impact.
There’s a healthy pipeline of work, including a full UI refresh and at least three years’ worth of projects to get stuck into.
Key responsibilities include:
Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Conducting user research and analysing behaviour to inform design decisions
Applying UX research methodologies and testing activities to predict user behaviour
Illustrating design ideas through storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes
Creating style guides, design systems, and reusable UI components
Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigation, and informational components
Conducting user testing and iterating based on feedback
Analysing implemented designs and proposing improvements
Staying current with design trends, tools, and best practices
Supporting the broader product design lifecycle from concept to deliveryThe ideal candidate will bring:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 2 years in UX/UI design
Strong proficiency with tools like Figma, Axure, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
A solid understanding of UX principles, user flows, and responsive design
The ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems
Familiarity with UX analytical tools and a basic grasp of development principlesIf you’re a thoughtful designer looking to make a genuine impact in a collaborative, remote-first environment, I’d love to hear from you
Salary circa £45,000 (more for the right person) to 6% pension, 25d holiday, 4x life insurance, and health-related
