Job Title: Agile Coach
Location: Grove, Wantage, UK
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Coach teams, leaders, and functions on agile principles, mindsets, and ways of working.
- Design and deliver agile uplift strategies tailored to different maturity levels (team, program, portfolio)
- Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, discovery sessions, and team health assessments to drive continuous improvement
- Partner with program and product leads to embed agile practices into planning, delivery, and governance rhythms
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping them lead through ambiguity and model agile leadership behaviours
- Support the adoption of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Loom, Rovo) to enhance transparency, flow, and outcomes.
- Identify systemic barriers to agility and work collaboratively to address organisational blockers
- Monitor and measure the progress of agile adoption using team health metrics, OKRs, and delivery outcomes
- Contribute to the design and scaling of Teamwork practices, embedding them in the customer environment and providing feedback to our team of behavioural scientists.
About You:
- 7+ years of experience in agile coaching, delivery leadership, or transformation roles within enterprise or consulting environments
- Proven experience coaching cross-functional teams in agile, lean, and DevOps principles at scale
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, equally effective with engineers, PMs, and execs
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools, ideally with practical experience embedding them in agile delivery workflows
- Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in complex or highly regulated environments
- Agile certifications (e.g., ICP-ACC, SAFe SPC, Lean Agile Leadership, etc.) are valued but not essential.
