About the Role
We're looking for a Backend Developer with strong engineering fundamentals and a passion for building high-performance systems. Building and consuming RESTful and event-driven APIs
Working with SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB)
Leveraging event-driven tools such as Azure Event Hub, Event Grid, or Confluent Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration
Contributing to the adoption of microservices and event-driven patterns across the platform
Implementing secure authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT)

Collaborating with engineers, product owners, and architects throughout the SDLC, from design through to deployment and monitoring
What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and/or Node.js
Experience building APIs (REST and event-driven) and integrating with third-party systems
Solid background with relational and non-relational databases
Exposure to event-driven architecture (Event Hub, Event Grid, Kafka, or similar)
Familiarity with Azure (AWS or GCP experience also considered)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and cloud-native design
Previous experience in a regulated industry (insurance, financial services, or banking) desirable
Why Join?
You'll be joining a forward-thinking technology team at a pivotal time with the chance to shape the future of insurance platforms that directly impact millions of customers. This is a place where engineering craft, innovation, and collaboration are genuinely valued.
