The Role


We're seeking a mid-level backend developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our EV charging software solutions. This role focuses on backend development using Node.js and related technologies.


What You'll Do


  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Work with microservices architecture and Kubernetes
  • Implement and optimize database solutions using MongoDB
  • Contribute to the development of software adhering to the OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) standard
  • Collaborate with the team in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems


Who We're Looking For


  • 3 + years experience as a software developer in a related field
  • Proven experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience with MongoDB and database optimization
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and well-documented code


Nice to have:


  • Experience with or knowledge of the OCPP standard
  • Familiarity with EV charging systems or related IoT solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) practices
