We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineers to join a unique program of work modernising critical systems that are considered true national treasures. This is not your everyday DevOps role – it’s the kind of opportunity you’ll only come across once in your career.

What you’ll be doing

• CICD uplift: Identify gaps in the current CICD framework and design/deliver a remediation plan to strengthen it.
• Source control: Use Git for source code management and streamline integration processes.
• Artifactory integration: Define and implement how our environments integrate effectively with Artifactory.
• On-premise focus: You’ll be working heavily across legacy infrastructure with the challenge of building towards a modernised future in Azure.
• Controls remediation: Take ownership of remediating 2 critical controls, from planning through to delivery.
• Planning & delivery: Not just hands-on engineering – you’ll also shape the plan for how remediation and CICD uplift will be delivered.

What you’ll bring

• Strong understanding of CICD frameworks and practical experience closing gaps in existing pipelines.
• Hands-on knowledge of Artifactory and how to integrate it into an enterprise ecosystem.
• Experience with Git for source code management and branching strategies.
• Building with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Proven background working in on-premises environments (cloud experience a plus, but this role is still largely on-prem).
