Job Description

As our first Lead Product Designer, you will take a strategic and hands-on role in shaping the design vision of our AI-powered platform. You’ll establish our design practice, craft intuitive experiences, and ensure every customer interaction with Brainfish feels seamless and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cofounders and product leadership to define the design vision and principles for AI-driven automation.
• Lead end-to-end design for core product initiatives — from research and ideation through to polished, high-quality interfaces.
• Be the voice of the user, conducting interviews, usability testing, and ongoing feedback loops to deeply understand customer workflows.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library to support velocity and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented with precision and delight.
• Drive a strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and user journeys across the company.

What We're Looking For

• 7–10+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Proven experience leading design in fast-paced 0-1, SaaS or AI/ML product environments.
• Deep understanding of UX, interaction design, and design systems.
• Ability to conduct and synthesize user research into actionable design decisions.
• Strong proficiency in Figma (and familiarity with prototyping/motion tools a plus).
• Exceptional communication skills, able to present design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
• Curious about and eager to incorporate AI into your design workflows — from ideation and prototyping to content and visual exploration — to supercharge creativity and productivity.
