We're seeking a proactive and organised HR & Training Coordinator to join our team. In this dynamic and fast paced role, you will play an integral part of the Human Resources team focussing on administration and training along with ad hoc duties within the Human Resources realm. Our strategic focus is aimed at Training and Development.
You will receive great exposure to the HR administration functions from recruitment, onboarding, employee life cycle, performance management, social and corporate responsibilities, learning and development. This position is ideally suited to an existing HR professional who wants to be part of a growing and dynamic team and can inject initiative, enthusiasm and creativity to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include and will not be limited to;
- Maintain employee files, ensuring they are kept up to date and in line with HR naming conventions
- Manage data entry for all new employees ensuring accuracy of information
- Drive the company's Training and Development process
- Manage the social and community engagement initiatives
- Draft HR letters and compliance documents, as required
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding, recruitment process
- Coordinate relevant pre-employment checks (references, visa's, licence, medicals and police check)
- Proactively coordinate HR and L&D initiatives
- Assist with day-to-day HR queries and tasks, ensuring all are dealt within an effective and timely manner and escalated where necessary
- Attend and actively contribute to HR Workgroup team meetings
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance standards are met in line with Alder Constructions HR process & procedure and ISO standards
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, psychology or similar discipline (Desirable)
- Excellent digital and technological skills, with exposure to HR systems being highly desirable
- Intermediate to Advanced level with Microsoft Office suite
- Touch typing
- Proactive and positive approach to your work
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Exceptional time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
- Strong communication skills, with a professional, highly confidential and consultative approach
