About The Opportunity
As Technical Project Manager of our Data Analytics Services at eHealth NSW, you will be responsible for overseeing the risk, quality, and progress of ICT projects in alignment with organisational standards, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality and scope.
This role plays a critical part in managing the onboarding of state-wide data assets into the NSW Health Enterprise Data Lake (EDL), supporting data asset migration to the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR), and ensuring adherence to data governance frameworks and risk management protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
In This Role, You Will
- Drive the delivery of complex ICT and data projects - ensuring they land on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and inspire collaboration across NSW Health, Pillars, and external partners.
- Shape project outcomes by actively managing risk, quality, and scope, ensuring data governance and security standards are embedded throughout.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders through clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and trusted advice.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to refine processes, unlock value, and deliver benefits faster.
- Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider Health agencies and relevant external agencies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Extensive experience in managing medium to large and/or complex technical Data and Analytics projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant project management qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
- Strong technical background and experience in delivering data integration, analytics, and reporting projects on cloud platforms like Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
- Deep understanding of data architecture, data governance, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
- Demonstrated experience managing and overseeing significant aspects of projects management and implementation, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, reporting, issue and risk management and managing budgets.
- Superior organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
