Modern.tech is seeking a talented and self-driven Product Owner to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will be the voice of the customer, collaborating with clients and internal leadership to shape the vision, roadmap, and execution of our digital product projects. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and communication — ideal for someone who enjoys turning abstract business goals into clear roadmaps and shipping quality UI/UX-focused digital products.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between clients, stakeholders, and the dev/design team.
• Define and communicate clear requirements aligned with the product vision and roadmap.
• Translate business needs into product requirements, epics, and user stories.
• Prioritize the product backlog and define sprint goals alongside engineering leads.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature reviews.
• Ensure features meet user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
• Proactively flag blockers and keep stakeholders aligned and informed.
• Evaluate releases post-launch and guide iteration.
• Help shape long-term product vision and roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in the software industry.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, user-centered design principles, and product management frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design competencies and an ability to translate design concepts into a product roadmap.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive product decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear, structured communicator who’s not afraid to ask hard questions.
• Ability to identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Fluent in English verbal and written communication.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and team workflows.
• Confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
