At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Backend Developer (Java) to join our UniQue team.

- Development of back-end website applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
- Implement core business logic
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Design and develop APIs
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
- Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
- Writing clean, functional code on the back-end
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
- Write technical documentation
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Have at least a Bachelor's degree
- Possess a Certificate as Java EE Application Developer
- 10 years' experience with Java/JEE and its frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate)
- 3 years' experience with Cloud-based DevOps
- 2 years' experience with{{:}} Postman, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Maven, Git, SVN, Angular 10+, eREST services, Jira, Confluence, Kafka, Swagger, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure, ElasticSearch, Junit, PHP are considered as additional assets
- 1 year experience with Weblogic Application Server
- Experience of development with Compass Corporate is considered an asset
- The following certifications are not mandatory but considered an asset{{:}} Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Proficiency in English C1 level
