Full time – On-site in Paris / London, or full remote from Western EU

My client is now part of the prestigious French Government program #FT120 from La French Tech

We’re looking for a Back-end Engineer at here. We are maintaining about 26 protocols.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

1) Building the product: You’ll be working closely with the Product and Infrastructure teams to plan, architect, and implement our core product. You’ll take part in the construction of the roadmap with the rest of the team. In this role, it includes:

  • Development of data aggregators for blockchains
  • Development of new Golang microservices within the their stack
  • Taking part in automation & deployment processes
  • Framework development

2) Owning what you build: As you architect, test, and refine the Their latform, you will ensure that our services communicate with each other seamlessly, have minimal downtime, and recover quickly (daytime, no on-calls)

3) Helping grow the Team: Everyone on the early team plays an important role in attracting, closing, and growing other talented team members. You can also mentor or brainstorm with other backend developers.

Our stack

  • Mostly in Golang with a bit of JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Communication between services is done using HTTP Rest, and most of our databases are backed by PostgreSQL
  • Everything runs in Kubernetes on GCP

Preferred experience

Skills & background

  • Strong communication skills both in English to facilitate the design of scalable architectures with SREs
  • Golang (over 1 year of experience)
  • Over 4 years of experience designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products (Python, PHP…)
  • Experience coding in JavaScript and TypeScript is a plus
  • Experience working with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration is a plus
  • Familiarity with GCP is a plus

  • Curiosity and the ability to dig into a topic and follow through
  • Team spirit: discuss, do not try to impose
  • Be pragmatic to not over-engineer unnecessarily: startups need to quickly adapt

Key point.:

Strong communication skills (fluent in English) to facilitate the design of scalable architectures with SREs

+1 year of Golang programming — professional experience in a production environment.

Experience in web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, or proven personal experience (eg. Github project, hackathon…) — with solid understanding of investing in crypto, protocols, staking, and DeFi.
