PROJECT MANAGERS with 3+ years experience required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational Pharmaceutcial client at their API site in Cork, initial 12 month contract on offer.
The PROJECT MANAGERS, API EXTERNAL MANUFACTURING will report to the Associate Director API External Manufacturing.
They need to have several years’ relevant experience from API / Small Molecule/Peptides environment and ideally, they will have previous tech transfer experience and knowledge of associated documentation (currently 27 products going through validation).
NOTE: No sponsorship is provided for this role so applicants need to already have Irish / EU citizenship OR the relevant Stamp / Visa in place.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage tech transfer plans for new products;
- Ensure scope is proactively managed via collaboration with project sponsor(s).
- Ensure a change process is in place to gain alignment with peers and leaders in managing modifications to plan timelines, deliverables, milestones, resourcing needs
- Independently develop and oversee execution of the project plan and delivery of project milestones; ensure realistic timelines for deliverables.
- Hold team members accountable for achievement of key project deliverables in alignment with the agreed to project plan and in compliance with corporate and medical quality standards
Facilitate Internal and Joint Process Team meetings.
Support supply chain and quality with batch release and shipment management.
Support the integration of API EM project planning with internal stakeholder plans (including PDPM, SMDD, BRD, Central TS/MS, GQL, etc) and CM operational plans.
Provide project management mentorship and support to other APIEM Team members (who are responsible for project execution and leadership).
Provide quality and timely insights using project management tools (Project plans, MS Project reports, Jira boards, reports from project-specific systems, risk management tools, decision logs, meeting minutes, status updates, etc).
Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to monitor and control the project (e.g. Metrics, dashboards, and scorecards).
Maintain relevant Teams, SharePoint, and Yammer site(s) and ensure appropriate access for team members.
Support Continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and leadership.
Strong problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrence within the team.
Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal and team priorities and adjust as needed.
Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills; able to develop effective teamwork between team members with diverse interpersonal styles; able to deliver effective coaching and feedback.
Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities.
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering/Science, or another engineering/project management discipline with extensive pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
3-4 + years of work experience in a manufacturing operations, technical transfer or Project Management related roles.
Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment as a member of teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities and to appropriately communicate verbally and in writing to various audiences.
